First organized in 2013, the North Arkansas Performing Artists Coalition - (NAPAC) is a Nonprofit Corporation (501(c)(3) pending) based in Harrison, Arkansas. The mission is to preserve and promote Independently produced and performed music, while benefitting area school music programs. This includes the school bands, choirs, and drama departments at the High School and College levels.
NAPAC is also the license holder of KBHQ-LPFM Radio, a "Community Radio Station" known as Ozarks Q-ROCK. KBHQ is a non-commercial radio station, and is supported entirely through donations, sponsorships, and volunteers. The announcements heard on KBHQ are acknowledgements in recognition of our business sponsors. As a member based organization, NAPAC offers "radio only" sponsorships and full organizational memberships.
Daily operation of KBHQ is controlled by Ozark Internet Radio Network, a Harrison based broadcasting corporation. Programming is focused on the Classic Rock music of the 1970's and '80's, with information on local events, activities, and news of local interest.
With the addition of KBHQ to the airwaves, Harrison, Arkansas now has four FM radio stations. Only ONE is truly 100% LOCAL. Support "Community Radio" and become a NAPAC member today!
